In addition, the club plays an important role in the community, promoting sports and youth integration through football.

History
The last time CD Thader managed to be promoted to the Third Division was in the 1955-1956 season.

In the 2006/07 season, the club finished in second position in the league phase, giving them access to the play-offs. These consisted of two two-legged ties, which CD Thader resolved in a clear manner, especially in the last and decisive tie, in which they won the first leg against Torrellano away by 0-1 and the return leg by a resounding 4-2. After 53 years, the team returned to play in the Third Division.

The 2024/25 season was a positive season, with a brilliant first half, the team was only 7 points away from the play offs.

That same season the club participated in the 77th San Pedro de Alicante Cup, reaching the final at the José Rico Pérez, finishing as runner-up in the tournament in a penalty shootout defeat.
